Sakae Shibata

Born in Gunma Prefecture January 30,1958.

After graduating from the Faculty of Agriculture, The University of Tokyo, I worked for 37 years as a science (biological) teacher at the Gunma prefectural highschools.
I retired Oze High School, the last working school, at the end of March 2018. At Oze High School , I took classes on environmental education as the only department of Natural Environment Department in Japan.

Certified Natureguide of Oze Guide Association. Nature Observation Instructor of The Nature Conservation Society of Japan. Graduate of First Aid course of Japanese Red Cross Society. Member of The Ornithological Society Of Japan, Gunma Natural Environment Research Study Group. Writer of the bird part of “Red Databook of Gunma Prefecture (animal version), first edition and revised edition.

Based on the Katashimura Village of Gunma Prefecture,  the main gateway of the Oze National Park, I will guide you around nature in Gumma Prefecture.
